Outcomes	Translate a climate challenge into a credible, bounded and financeable project concept. Develop a defensible climate rationale using climate risk, vulnerability, emissions, baseline and scenario evidence. Build a coherent project architecture linking objective, components, outputs, outcomes, assumptions and implementation logic. Construct a climate-specific theory of change and results framework with meaningful indicators, baselines and targets. Design credible adaptation and mitigation interventions appropriate to African contexts. Apply pre-feasibility, alternatives analysis, technical due diligence and economic reasoning before full proposal development. Build a professional concept note and funding-proposal architecture aligned to funder review criteria. Develop a realistic project budget and financing plan, including co-financing and value-for-money logic. Integrate environmental and social safeguards, gender responsiveness, stakeholder engagement and grievance mechanisms. Design partnership, implementation, procurement and risk structures that demonstrate delivery readiness. Conduct proposal red-teaming and quality assurance from the perspective of a technical reviewer. Produce a complete climate finance concept package ready for further technical development and partner/funder review.
