These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The NGO Leadership Academy website and online learning platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Course Access and Licensing

Upon enrolling in a course, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access that course's content for personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content without our prior written consent.

3. Payments and Fees

Course fees are displayed at the time of enrolment. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. All fees are due in full at the time of enrolment unless otherwise stated. See our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

4. Instructor-Submitted Content

Instructors who publish courses on the platform retain ownership of their original content but grant The NGO Leadership Academy a licence to host, display, and deliver that content to enrolled students. Instructors are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued upon successfully completing a course's requirements. Certificates confirm completion of course content and do not constitute a formal academic degree or professional accreditation unless explicitly stated on the course page.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload or share content that is abusive, defamatory, or infringes others' rights; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; or (d) interfere with the proper functioning of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform design, branding, and original content (excluding instructor-submitted course content) are the property of The NGO Leadership Academy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The NGO Leadership Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
